There’s nothing to do. I’m bored.

Ever hear that from the kids? Ever say it yourself? Need somewhere to take the grandkids when they come to visit? Want to hang out with your nieces and nephews?

On the Pot is the place for you! On the Pot is a pottery painting studio where you can walk in without an appointment, choose a piece of pottery from the vast array of choices, pick your paint and create a masterpiece!

You don’t have experience, you say? You don’t need it! Your pottery can be as simple as you like (a purple bowl, for instance) or as detailed as you’d like (a plate with a sketch of your favorite rock star!) Or it can be anything in-between because they carry a wide variety of rubber stamps and have amazing brushes and sponges from which to choose. They carry pottery pieces that appeal to children (animal-shaped banks) and to boys and girls (room accessories such as light switch plates and closet door knobs.) They are family-friendly and they will even help you preserve your baby’s handprints and feet prints, or you can go on YaYa night when only adults are admitted and you can bring in food and beverages! They love parties and groups, but individuals are also welcome.

What makes the place great? Robin and Julie, the owners. They’ll make you feel right at home and give you the encouragement you need to get started and keep coming back! (That’s not something you’ll find in every pottery painting studio.)

Uh-huh. Right. What's the catch?
Yep, there is a catch. Robin and Julie are friends of ours, and Becky created their first website for them. But we are paying customers just like everyone else who frequents their studio. We get no special favors, we just have a lot of fun!
