Customer Service
I did have a problem with an incorrect order one time, and they quickly shipped out the missing Marco Polo cheese. They were very courteous throughout the transaction. Also, cheese will be shipped in an insulated pack inside a secure box if you order on-line. They also pack for airline travel.

Proud to Recommend...
I love cheese. I love Seattle. Seattle has great cheese. Beecher’s Handmade Cheese has the best!

If you’re ever in Seattle, you simply must stop in to Beecher’s Handmade Cheese located in Pike Place Market. It’s a relatively small retail shop and it’s probably going to be packed with customers and tourists, but it’s worth whatever time it takes to get in and out.

The staff are friendly and they know cheese! They’re willing to let you sample before you buy and they’ll happily make recommendations. My two favorites are from their World Cheese collection. Marco Polo is infused with large crushed pepper; Mariachi is a chipotle pepper jack blend. Put a slice of either atop a Beecher’s cracker, open a bottle of wine, and there goes the evening! Ah, paradise, no matter where you are!

My teenage daughter of discriminating mac-n-cheese taste LOVES their macaroni and cheese, and yes, room service is more than happy to warm up a tub and deliver it to your hotel room for you at midnight! Not that I’d … uh … know anything about that … :-)

Speaking of hotel rooms, if you've got friends stopping by before heading out to dinner in Seattle, why not offer them cheese and crackers as an appetizer? That's what I do!

Uh-huh. Right. What's the catch?
There’s not really a catch, but there is a connection. The Beecher’s people have taken the cheese-making classes offered at WSU – the same place that makes the Cougar Gold cheese that is also reviewed on this website. That doesn’t prove bias – it just means that those people in Washington really know cheese!

Items I’ve bought:
Flagship Cheese (Awesome)
Garlic Curds (Great on salads)
Mariachi (Excellent)
Marco Polo (Most excellent)
No Woman (Not my personal favorite)
Ling Ling (So-so)
Butter (Delicious)
Beecher’s Crackers (A MUST with any cheese – they compliment the cheese without overpowering the flavor.)
Mac-n-Cheese (A sure winner every time!)
